Valencia has the great privilege of having very close, just 11 kilometers away, the natural reserve known as Parque Natural de la Albufera.This park is home of the largest lake in Spain and one of the most important wetland areas in the Iberian Peninsula and also considered to be a paradise for migrating birds.

During our amazing Private Guided Tour to Albufera you will discover the rice fields, enjoy a lovely a boat trip through the water channels that irrigate the paddies, sailing in the central lake where you will distinguish different wetlands birds,and special fish which survive in a mixture of salted and sweet water.

After our interesting boat trip, we will visit a “barraca”: a typical house used by the local farmers in the irrigated lands of Valencia, we can also visit the Interpretation Centre and learning about the art of “Bird-watching”

The excursion can be complemented by a Paella“show-cooking” in which you will see the cooking process of the real Valencian paella,and can even take part in some of the stage of the elaboration. And,of course, you can enjoy a lunch or dinner of paella, served with several starters and beverage. This natural tour won’t leave you indifferent.
